1. Eligibility

The Velle “Get a hug, send a hug” Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal residents of the United States who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Employees of Velle, For the Cubs, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members are not eligible to participate. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

2. Sponsor

The Sweepstakes is sponsored by For the Cubs d. b. a. as Velle, located at 9705 Burnet Rd, Suite 414, Austin, TX, 78751.

3. Agreement to Rules

By participating, the Entrant (“You”) agrees to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Official Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of Velle as final and binding as it relates to the content and execution of this Sweepstakes.

4. Sweepstakes Period

Entries will be accepted online starting on July 8, 2026, at 9:00 AM CT and ending Friday, July 31, 2026, at 5:00 PM CT (the “Sweepstakes Period”). All online entries must be received by July 31, 2026, at 5:00 PM CT.

5. How to Enter

There are two (2) ways to enter the Sweepstakes during the Sweepstakes Period:

• Method 1: Social Media Entry (Facebook or Instagram UGC) 1. Post a unique photo or video of yourself giving Percy a big hug on your public Instagram feed or public Facebook timeline.

• 2. Tag Velle’s official account on Instagram or Facebook page and tag one (1) friend in the post.

• 3. In the caption, tell them you are sending a virtual hug their way, share a supportive word, and pass the calm along.

• Note: Your Instagram profile or Facebook post privacy settings must be set to "Public" so your entry is visible and can be counted.

• Method 2: Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE / Free Entry)

• To enter without posting on social media or if you do not own a Percy, you may enter by mailing your entry to “Get a hug, send a hug Sweepstakes c/o Velle, 9705 Burnet Rd, suite 414, Austin, TX, 78758. Include your full name, email address, phone number, and a short message (1-2 sentences) about how a Percy would help you.

Entry Limits: You may enter multiple times, provided that each entry contains a unique photo/video, caption, and a different tagged friend. Duplicate posts or identical submissions across platforms will be disqualified.

6. Prizes

The Winner of the Sweepstakes (the “Winner”) will receive one (1) prize consisting of their choice of either:

• One (1) $250 Visa® Gift Card OR

• One (1) $250 Velle store credit OR
  
  

• One (1) $250 USD donation made by Velle directly to a verified 501(c)(3) charitable organization of the Winner’s choosing.

The prize is non-transferable. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others is permitted, except at Velle’s discretion. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the Winner.

7. Odds

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.

8. Winner Selection and Notification

The Winner will be selected at random using a digital randomizer tool under the supervision of Velle.

The Winner will be announced publicly on Velle’s official Instagram and Facebook pages and notified via Instagram Direct Message (DM), Facebook Messenger, or Email within ten (10) days of the Sweepstakes closing date (on or before August 10, 2026).

Velle shall have no liability for a Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail, or restrictive privacy settings. If the Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to claim the prize within seven (7) days from the time award notification was sent, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected.

9. Rights Granted by You (Content & Marketing Usage Rights)

By entering this Sweepstakes and submitting content (including but not limited to photos, videos, captions, and social media handles via Facebook or Instagram), You grant Velle, its affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, successors, and assigns, an irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual license to use, reproduce, edit, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, and display such content, in whole or in part.

Velle shall have the right to use this content in perpetuity throughout the world, without limitation, across any and all marketing channels now known or hereafter developed. This includes, without limitation, Velle's website, email marketing campaigns, social media platforms, paid digital advertisements, print materials, and any other promotional channels, without any further compensation, notice, review, or approval from You. You represent and warrant that you own all rights to the submitted content and that its use by Velle will not violate the rights of any third party.

10. Terms & General Conditions

Velle reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes should a virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Velle’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. Velle reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or website or violates these Terms & Conditions.

11. Limitation of Liability

By entering, You agree to release and hold harmless Velle, For the Cubs LLC, Meta Platforms Inc., Facebook, Instagram, Visa Inc., and their subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) such entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service.
